Sprinkle in some cinnamon and sugar. Then add about ½ cup of maple syrup and allow the apples to cook for 4 minutes. Serve over waffles or pancakes. Apple Breakfast Bread - Similar to banana bread, apples are used to make a moist and delicious bread. Baked Apples - Peel, core and slice a few apples. Coat a baking pan with cooking spray. Bake the apples for about 40 minutes on 375 or until the apples are soft. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar when cooked and add to a hot bowl of oatmeal. Snacks Apple Muffins - Always a nice treat, especially when slightly warmed and with a pad of butter on top. Apple and Brie Tortillas - Peel and slice an apple. Slice a few apples and the coat the ends with peanut butter. Add some raisins or cranberries on top of the peanut butter. Dinners Salads: There are quite a few delicious salads that use apples. Here are a few tasty ideas to get you started: Apple and Walnut Salad, Jicama Apple Slaw, Baked Apple and Cheddar Salad, and Waldorf Salad. Main Course: To lighten up your main course, try incorporating some apples into it. These menu ideas should not be missed: Apple and Leek Stuffed Chicken Breasts, Apple and Sausage Skillet Dinner, and Apple-Spiced Ribs. Sides: Apple Risotto, homemade applesauce, saut?ed apples with thyme, and shredded cabbage and apples.
